Pricing and Quotes
How do your quotes work?
We size up the job, whether that's over the phone or once we've arrived, then set a fixed price before anything starts. You pay exactly that, no surprises once the tap's off or the pipe's open. If the scope changes once we're inside a wall, we stop and talk it through with you before going further.
Do you charge a call-out fee?
No. It's a $0 Call Out Fee to have a licensed plumber assess the job, whether it turns into a repair or not. You only pay for work you've actually approved, and that price is agreed before we start, not after.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. One price, whatever the hour, whatever the day, including Christmas Day if that's when your hot water dies. We don't run a separate after-hours rate, because emergencies don't check a calendar first.
How can I pay?
Card or bank transfer both work fine, whichever's easier for you. We put the total in writing before you sign off on it, so settling up at the end is a formality, not a surprise.

Licensed, Insured and Accountable
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
It covers the workmanship on every repair we carry out. We come back. No questions. No cost. It's not time-limited and it isn't tied to who owns the property, so it stands behind the job itself, for good.
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Yes, always ask. We're licensed under NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and every plumber sent to your door is licensed and insured too. If a tradesperson won't show you a licence number, that's your cue to hang up.
Who can legally do gas work in NSW?
Only a licensed gasfitter, full stop. It's not a job for a general handyman or a DIY fix, and NSW law is strict about it for good reason. If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside, then get a licensed plumber out to check it properly.
What is safe to try myself before you arrive?
Turn off the water at the meter, lift a blocked toilet's float if it's overflowing, or switch off a hot water system at its isolation valve, these are all fine to do yourself. Leave anything involving gas alone completely, and skip the chemical drain cleaners, they can make the job harder for whoever fixes it next.

Speed, Hours and Booking
How does the callback form work?
Pop in your name and number and hit send, we call back fast, day or night. It's not a ticket queue, a real person on our team rings you directly to talk through what's happening and get someone moving if it's urgent.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Water where it shouldn't be, or gas you can smell, both qualify straight away. Think a pipe letting go behind a wall, a toilet that won't stop overflowing, or a hot water system that's died overnight in the cold. Ring us regardless if something feels wrong, guessing over the phone helps nobody.
How fast can you get here?
We aim to be on-site fast, and a real person picks up the second you ring, day or night. Timing shifts a little with traffic and how many other callouts are running, but a genuine emergency never sits waiting until tomorrow.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Weekends, public holidays, Christmas included, we're rostered on regardless. A licensed plumber answers whenever you call, not an answering machine standing in.

Properly Local to Northbridge
Which suburbs do you service?
Northbridge and every suburb that borders it: Cammeray, Willoughby, Naremburn, Cremorne and Crows Nest. Anywhere in that patch, if something's leaking, blocked or broken, we're the ones to ring.
Why do Northbridge's older homes keep us busy?
A lot of these Federation and mid-century houses are still running original pipework and older hot water systems that are simply due. We see ageing galvanised and clay drainage give way more often here than in newer streets, especially once a system's past fifty years old.
Do tree roots really block drains around Northbridge?
Constantly. The mature trees lining these older streets send roots straight into ageing earthenware and clay sewer joints, still the single biggest cause of blocked drains we get called out for on this side of the harbour. Once a root's in, it keeps coming back until the pipe's actually relined or replaced.
Do you work on Northbridge's apartments and strata blocks?
We do, though there aren't many of them, Northbridge is mostly detached houses and period homes, with just a smaller pocket of units near the Plaza. When we do get a strata callout it's usually a shared hot water system or a stack issue, and we work directly with the building manager to sort access.
